Privacy Policy
Beta policy — last updated August 2026.
What we collect
Your email address and password (or Google account identity) for sign-in; your username, display name, and optional avatar; your games, moves, ratings, MOVE Points, and notifications. We hash invitation tokens and IP addresses used for rate limiting — raw values are never stored.
How it is used
Solely to run Chessorro: authenticating you, pairing games, keeping score, and notifying you when it is your move. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (PostgreSQL and authentication) and the app is served by Vercel. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and are never visible to us.
What others see
Your username, display name, avatar, and ratings are visible to other players (for example on the leaderboard and in games). Your email is never shown to other players.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time. To delete your account and associated data during the beta, contact support and we will remove it.
